Rump Steak (8oz)

More taste than a fillet steak but with a more firm texture, our Scottish Rump Steaks are properly matured and are great for frying, grilling or barbecuing. This is the traditional rump steak, cut from the D-rump and also known in Scotland as a Popes eye steak. Due to the relative thinness compared to others steaks it cooks quickly, especially when pan fried. Our award winning butchers here in expertly cut the beef by hand to our customer's requirements. Only cattle born and raised naturally and predominantly grass fed in Scotland are used for Smiths Beef and we have full traceability to farm and feed.
