This is the traditional rump steak, cut from the D-rump and also known in Scotland as a Popeseye steak. Due to the relative thinness compared to others steaks it cooks quickly, especially when pan fried.
Our award winning butchers here in Carnwath expertly cut the beef by hand to our customer's requirements.
Only cattle born and raised naturally and predominantly grass fed in Scotland are used for Smiths Beef and we have full traceability to farm and feed.
